good trade?

hi all, is this a good trade?

lnib m serial cosc 14060m no date submariner with box and papers + 1500 cash for gmtiic lnib with box and papers.

i've always wanted a gmtiic, and want to know if this is a good deal. thanks in advance.

I would say its a great deal. they are about par in terms of price 2nd hand and thus i would have you leading by 1500.

man, i think i poorly worded my original post. i would be giving up the no date sub as well as the 1500 in cash. so it's my sub plus my 1500 for the gmt iic. still a good deal?

Yup ... your sub's street valule is about $3200 ....so you are getting a GMTIIc for $4700 ... tha't pretty much the market value....

These "Good deal?" threads are sometimes tough to answer.

Having said that, however, in this case you definitely got the better end of the deal. Congrats on getting the finest Rolex (IMHO) ever made.
