Last (ie. smallest) micro adjustment causing clasp not to close on Explorer (114270)
Hi all. Since the weather has gotten much cooler where I am I decided to make a micro adjustment on my Explorer 114270 (no glide lock) from the second to last position to the last / smallest position. When I go to put it back on, the clasp now seems to be out of alignment with itself and is not closing completely nor laying flat. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it common and can it be fixed? Am I not supposed to use that last hole haha?!

There are three small shallow holes in the clasp, by default the middle one is used, and you moved it the closest one? I don’t see a problem for that. I did it once and clasp closed as normal. But it’s on yachtmaster, not explorer. I’m not sure if explorer clasp is of any difference though

Hi all. Attached are some photos that show both the clasp style and the issue I'm having. I'm not sure if this is the Easy Link actually. It doesn't look like what I'm finding on Google when I search that but I could definitely be wrong because I am very new to owning this watch. It's a 2003. As you can see in the photo, the clasp doesn't lay flush when on.

Watch looks tight on you. Maybe it’s forcing it up

Add a link and readjust the clasp pins to suit. Also, it's possible the spring bar is not one the same hole on each side. That clasp could never be mistaken for an easy link clasp BTW.
