Tudor Pelagos Collection

I have been a fan of the Pelagos since release and have owned all of the models, except the 39. I find the size, case, dial and the bracelet on the models that come with it, to be outstanding. But most of all, I like how it looks and wears. With the introduction of the new Pelagos on strap, I decided to go all in and pickup the MN again and have all five of the the 42mm models. What would I have if I didn't have excess, more money is probably the answer. I have done this type of thing before and purchased all of the Submariners in SS and PM to have in the collection. It was fun for a minute and then I moved on. Will these all stay, doubtful, but they are a lot of fun and a great wear. I will see.

You my friend, have good taste. I’ve done the SS all sub thing before, and regretting selling them off….now working on replacing what i one had. Also like you I’ve been bitten by the Pelagos bug. I need the 39, and the LHD to complete it. Cheers, Jim

Very cool. I love my FXD and recommend the Pelagos line all the time to friends who want a solid watch at a fair price point. Very cool you got to pick up the new model, hope you enjoy it

Awesome collection of my favorite watch, I am coming up on a decade of near constant wear soon. I wear my ETA Pelagos on a MN strap almost exclusively these days, so the new black FXD is looking very appealing to me.

Fun to have the whole line to choose from. The Pelagos is definitely my favorite model from the brand.

Nice collection. I caution you don’t buy the Pelagos 39. Since I purchased mine my other watches -Rolex- have gotten little use. I sold all but one Rolex Daytona and wear the 39 almost all the time. Most comfortable watch I’ve owned.

I have the black 42mm Pelagos and I absolutely love wearing it. I’ve often contemplated buying the blue variant as well. Wear that lovely collection of yours in good health.

If you could only keep one - which one is it?

For me the new black FXD is the best and reminds me the most of the old Tudor Submariners that I love. Very tooltastic.

For me I just love the original 3D indentation in the dial of the original Pelagos. If it was the same dial in the 39, I would get it no question. The OG Pelagos is just too big for me.

Well played… I love this watch. Well actually not all. I don't have a preference for the FXD because not really a Nato fan. The 39mm also out because as Kwingy mentioned above, I like the 3D dial on the 42mm. Not the left hand winder either, even though I did try that one on. Kind of a toss up between the 42mm black face and blue. Those two are perfect. I almost got one but instead went for a 20 year old Omega Seamaster 2534.50 GMT chrono. Go figure… That said the desire has not diminished for the Tudor. Hopefully, in the future, one of those will be on my wrist. Glad you are enjoying your collecting!

I hope we get a few variants of the BB54. My collection will be quite similar to yours, if they do.

Awesome! Good for you! They look great.
Since you’ve had an entire collection of Subs, overall how do you feel the Tudors compare?

Certainly a fantastic watch and I think it's priced well. I adore my LHD but oddly enough, it pushed me over the edge to buy my Rolex.

Don't regret buying either.
