Weekend pics

I snapped some pics of the "devil dog" this weekend. Him just chilling out:

This look says "can I have something to eat please?" It's a look I see often.

He doesn't mind the roadster with the top down.

I took some snaps of the leaves on my way back from the shooting range. Not a lot of colour yet, but getting there:

Nice scene by a creek in the area - it was a very nice day on Sunday:

I forgot to upload some from home.......

Anyway, thanks for looking.

You can almost see the horns on the devil dog.

Nice pics Al. Here's some pics I took on our ride this past Sunday. Our leaves are turning already. We went up north, 180 miles round trip.

This is Blue Mountain Lake

Here's a camp on the lake

The gang

This is the view from the place we had lunch. It's called daikers and it's in Old Forge. It's a secluded place and you can either get there from a one lane dirt road from the front or by watercraft from the backside. We ate outside on the deck. It was a beautiful day.

I'll try to get some pics from looking out my front door and backyard soon. It's pretty this time of year.

This past weekend was prolly the best for colour. We had sunshine and 20+C each day (and now we're paid back with a coming week of rain and single digit temps ).

No pix cuz the little one was ill, but the colours in the Gatineau Park were stunning.

The leaves here seem to be falling rather than turning - very frustrating. We cleaned off the deck, and a couple of hours later this is what it looked like:

Feels like a losing battle!

Oh man that dog reminds me of this gir.....

It looks like one spoilt, evil dog!

Great scenery though, a proper autumn is one of the nicest looking seasons I think.

Give up Al... it is, until the snow falls. The thing I find with having a pool in the back (which is still technically 'open' ) is that it's a magnet for all the leaves in the neighbourhood.

Great pics, all. Fall is a beautiful time of year. Crisp, clear days, cool nights and beautiful colors.

Al, I know your frustration. Our house is surrounded by trees. In a few weeks, it will start raining leaves in both the front and back yards. I wait till they're just about all done and then right before Thanksgiving we have the Deliverance guys come and clean them up and cart them away.

I know what you mean Ed. Yesterday my backyard was pretty much bare. Today you can't see any green at all.
