Stolen Rolexes and More- Please keep an eye out

Hello All,

These watches were stolen (watch only) in the Houston area. There is a very high chance they may be sold internationally too, please keep an eye out for these serials. Reward if found . I have reported these to RolexUSA and swatch Register. If anyone knows how to get these reported to Rolex in other countries, would love to hear it. Thanks a lot and stay safe .

Hublot Aerofusion Skeleton ref: 525.OX.0180.LR S/N 1334063. On red leather strap, quite unique.

Edit the title and add the serial numbers into the title, that way if someone googles the serial number this post will show up

Dumb question but you did also report the theft with your local authorities as well I assume?

I highly doubt he was walking down the street with all these BNIB watches in a backpack. And income inequality doesn't make people steal, bad morals does. We've always had and always will have income inequality and I would wager that no one on this board would enjoy what "equity" would look like in practice.

This idea that people are stealing to eat is a trope right out of Les Miserables. At least that novel reflected historical context at the time.

In USA 30-40% of the population is living hand to mouth. However, being poor doesn't mean that you are just deprived of food. Young thugs are growing up watching the social networks where it seems that everyone is driving Lambo and wearing a Rolex these days.

Just think of all those Louis Vuitton and Gucci stores looting all over the USA lately. Your assumptions are wrong. They are not stealing because they are hungry but because they want to escape their status of being poor. And being poor today means you don't have any of those wealth status they are stealing in the first place.

Let's not get the OP's thread locked. How about saying BOTH can be true? The larger the wealth gap, the more likely it is that people with little wealth are tempted to steal -- but only a certain subset of those people with little wealth will actually steal. Now everyone is happy.

Also living (rural) in the EU. In my village no problems, in bigger cities I leave ROLEX (watches in general) at home in the safe (and also two in my bank vault). Visiting bigger city centers I wear my PAM or Tudor.

RUSA wouldn’t have accepted the theft report without a copy of the local police report - so he must have done so.

When RUSA accepted your report, it was entered into their global database. In the past, there were separate DB’s but they fixed that several years ago. That’s how my burgled Platona in USA was recovered in UK.

That’s not necessary because this thread will rise to the top of Google results by simple repetition of the serial numbers. The thread title alone doesn’t add to relevance in their algorithms.

Yes it’s been reported to the local authorities. Also waiting on footage of the location it occurred

So when I spoke to RSC, I was told if it turns up in Europe, it may not be flagged as stolen so I will have to contact the RSC in those regions too. I really hope they are reported to the global database.

Thank you for bumping the serial numbers too.

Also, May I ask when you Platona was stolen?

Stolen 2017, recovered in UK 4 years later.

The rep may have misspoke - it’s on the database but recoveries outside the USA must follow the laws of the jurisdiction where it is recovered.

I had my collection that I had at home stolen in 2011. I keep almost everything at banks now.
