Is this a Franken 16750?
Hi guys,
the price seems too good to be true. As I don't know too much about fake dials or hands, I wanted to ask you guys what you think about this 16750. I mean it does look amazing and if it is legit I would love to pull the trigger. https://www.watchcentre.com/rolex-tr...ss-steel-16750 Thanks |

suggest you read this:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=77719 There is only 2 variations of the 16750 dial so should be easy to tell. I'm not sure if 11K GBP is really that "cheap" |

You should always do your own research and not blindly rely on others on a forum. Plus its also lazy.
When I said 2 variations, I'm talking about 2 variations of the matte dial 16750. I've already provided a link and Springer has also provided some assistance. |

I've bought from them, doubt they'd sell a franken tbh...and I'd say £11k is about UK loose watch money for a matte 16750.
Check the JP stuff etc though it's very good. As stated 555 end links are usually Datejust Jubillee combo - btw many GMT watches get retro-Jubilee-ed now Jubillee back in fashion since the BLNR /BLRO contemporary launch on a Jubillee 4 or 5 yrs back.

As mentioned in this post and also by Turo, the Jubilee bracelet with 555 end links are for a Datejust or similar model.
The correct Jubilee 62510 bracelet for a late 1970s GMT 1675 or any GMT 16750 would have the number 50 stamped on the last link and use 550 end links. Collectors or dealers have been known to install the Datejust bracelet on the GMTs but it is not correct. The 1.8mm spring bars that fit the Datejust end links are smaller in size than the 2mm spring bars that are correct and properly fit the GMT 1675 and GMT 16750 end links and case lug holes. Below is a link to a thread on vintage GMT bracelets and end links. https://gmtforum.com/viewtopic.php?f...d03c622b341599 jP
