Dragonflies
A few shots of various Dragonflies I have come across while hiking this summer. They eat mosquito's so I'm a fan. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Much appreciated.
Fred, thanks - the lens is a Canon 100-400mm L and these were all taken at 400mm except one which was 380mm. It's helpful to have the distance that this lens provides so as not to disturb them.

Great Photos Mike. They are amazing insects and yes they eat a lot of mosquitoes so I am always happy to see them.

Great shots. I always think of them as a good omen and they look pretty good in Tiffany lamps as well. Thanks for sharing such exquisite photos.

Those are exceptional pictures. Nicely done.
Random fact, while dragon flies have legs, they're not able to walk with them. They are simply their landing gears.
