Off to the UK this Friday. Help me choose...

Which Rolex to take.

Can't take the TT Black Sub as it is in for service!

my vote is the last one but knowing you were hoping to get a DJII while you are in London - I would not like your chances. Hope I am wrong though.

The wife and I went to oxford street today for some shopping and I was trying to see if I could locate a watch I want today (not a rolex) so had different conversation with 3 main rolex AD today and non of them were able to provide a delivery period of DJII. Early to mid September is unlikely was the answer I got from them. One AD even suggested early October........

All 3 AD salesperson were quite knowledgeable about rolex but I do hope they see wrong this time. I'm very keen to see and try on any of the 41mm DJIIs before making up my mind.

The GMTII would be a nice alternative option though. .

I am leaning toward this one personally. The GMT function will come in handy and it's not so blingy.

I believe that a member of our forum is selling that exact same watch and lives in the UK. If I had the cash available that would be my choice too, even though I'm not a big Daytona fan. I love that meteroite dial. Just stunning.

What about getting a SS and sourcing a meteorite dial? Cheaper...

I've seen the meteorite dial running at about 4k. Combined with the SS Daytona it's not that much cheaper than a preowned WG with meteorite dial. And I think the WG would add some nice heft to the watch.

Since you put it there... the obvious answer is #4.

You could use some more stainless in your life Richard.

Icon7 :-)

I voted for the TT black MOP YM, because I got the other two, and my next one might most probably have a black MOP dial --- eventually a TT YM!

( you gonna sell yours??? ;-))

Richard, at least there are a few white Exp2 available in central London at the moment, as well as various versions of WG Daytonas.
FYI - you will not be able to claim back VAT if you buy pre-owned watch

They are very expensive in the first place and so 20% discount is not that good!!

That was my vote, Richard. It's the only one to take when travelling IMO.

At today's exchange rate 1.63/GBP, #4 is not a very good option.
