GMT bezel as medicine timer
It's that time of year when I get the cold and need to half dose some DayQuil every 2 hrs. Am I the only one who finds the bezel on the GMT best for this very particular job? For some reason, I think neither the sub or the daytona would be the proper tool.

I’ve done it before and it works as a rough timer but the Sub does a much better job as it has 120 positions for spot on timing.

For medication I'd just set my phone or Casio to beep every 2 hours.

I use mine to time parking meters. If I've got 20 minutes on the meter, I rotate the 12:00 triangle on the bezel to 18 minutes from the present time. When the minute hand reaches the triangle, I know I need to either move the car or feed the meter.

I use the GMT 24 hour bezel to time medicine as well — particularly when doses are 6 or 8 hours. The 16710 is a little easier because it has 120 clicks.
The GMT is great for multi-hour timing. |

A rotating bezel, used as a simple timer is an indispensable feature I use everyday.
