New Month... Back To My Roots...

It's the start of a new month... time to change those dates ..

Or, in my case, time to change to a different watch.. Hey, if you're going to change the date, you might as well get as much out of the effort as possible..

I'm starting off this wonderful blustery September with this one..

One of the funny colored ones eh?

Larry, was this what you wore color wise back in your Air Traffic Controller, Aero-engineering days?

I struggle between this and the black. I really need one of each I sometimes think. Absolutely love it Larry, excellent post .........now...what should I switch to....

Richard,
I've had the black bezel on for about a month and miss a little color. I plan on a change to black/ burgundy during the next visit to my watchmaker.

Looking great, Larry.

Aaaahhh now I understand, of course you had to change after being without a date for 31 days.

How's that for working with you?

Who's Richard? Senior moment Dan? Just busting your chops buddy. Do have a question about frequent insert changes, but I don't want to hijack this any further..... I'll send you a PM

You know...a bunch of the mods do it, and shouldn't we follow their examples? Good point Gary.

Larry, I apologize for my part in this. I mean it.

Could you please put this back on track with the roots origin. I am truly curious which color you first wore in the "Air/Aero" days.

When I came to this forum I was clueless on what I was getting myself into and nobody warned me!!
I only liked the Blue TT Sub and the TT GMTII C that I got but I am now in love with so many diffrent models I need Millions to get what I want.

I love your GMT and I want a Pepsi & Coke GMT for myself, a SS Sub, and a SS Vintage Sub.

I have never been a big fan of the Pepsi bezel... Fortunately, the 1675 was available in the early 70's with a black bezel... I still have a black bezel GMT Master, and a black/red GMT Master II.......

I may have a GMT in the repair box that might end up with a pepsi...... I haven't decided yet... I really don't like to stand out......

I am on the same page, I love both, but never warmed to the "Pepsi". I do belive I've seen you post a Black bezel once or twice.....

I've really enjoyed the insights to your roots stuff here lately. Thanks again for sharing Larry.
