Help critiquing this 1016

Looking to pick up a nice 1016 example. This looks nice to my green eye, but hoping for some expertise and thoughts from the community. Thanks!

Based on the pictures you provided I don't see any red flags. Dial is in good condition and case is nice and thick. Only thing I would do is make sure dial is correct for serial/year range, vet the seller (more pics would be nice) and negotiate a good price since there's no bracelet.

Really appreciate the thoughts, and that link. I will certainly check it out and study up. In the meantime, the below is the other example I'm considering, this one from 1988. They say the dial appears white but is the original tritium. Any additional thoughts on this one in terms of condition/flags? Many thanks.

They don’t seem to have given you any photos with a clear pic of the dial in full. They hat is critical for validating their claim that the dial is original tritium.

Agreed -- I reached out to them after posting and asked for a more detailed pic of the dial.
