Just bought a LM PO 2500
I sold my PO 2500 with orange bezel, the 45.5 size that I have owned new since 2008. Just sold it as back then I wanted 45.5 now I wish I got the 42mm size. I was set on selling it and replacing with the same exact watch but in 42mm size. Cost would be a wash.
Then I got to looking and researching. Came across the Liquid Metal limited edition of 1948 pieces. It’s 42m and has ceramic bezel and dial. Looks stunning in pictures. It’s also the same thin as the watch I sold given it has the 2500 movement. It was quite a bit more money (paid 7600 after taxes). It has the complete kit and is in mint condition. Can’t wait to get this beauty! I know it will never leave my collection. My 2500 I sold was my first automatic and nice watch. Why it took so long for me to sell it even though I don’t wear it as it’s too large for my wrists now. I now get a watch I will wear a lot in the same size thickness with an amazing bezel and dial. I am super excited. Will share pics when I get it! |

Best PO made. Omega needs to bring something similar to that back into the catalog.

Absolute classic reference! Great purchase. These will go down as one of the all-time great Omega dive watches.

The best PO ever made by a mile. Hopefully someday they'll revisit these dimensions.

Anyone know if it’s possible to somehow get female links versus the male links used by the watch case?
I had the 45.5 and the LM LE is 42mm. Both have male links. How much smaller does the 42 wear? The 45.5 was too big. Hoping the 42 fits great. I’m betting it will (but if not, female links would help a lot!). |

Anyone have one on factory rubber? I saw a youtube video with one and looked great!

Only came on metal. I saw that video too. He ordered it from omega. I’m guessing it’s just a factory rubber strap with the same lug width that omega makes.

Yes. Genuine omega strap and buckle. The strap is 401800305480 and the buckle 401800306480.

Finally arrived today after clearing customs. I love this watch and I have a lot of watches. Seriously prefer this to the my Rolex submariners. It’s just perfection in my eyes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You get this off of C24 from a European seller? I was watching one that was full box and papers that's now listed as sold.

Got it from the UK. There was another from an European seller that also was sold. Two tone in last week. There’s a nicely priced one in Japan but not box (has papers though). I wanted a mint full set so paid a little more but watch is full set and I love it.

It’s great. A little heavier than a Rolex I believe (submariner) but feels great and these things are build like tanks. Feels like it will last forever. I love it, it’s never leaving my collection.
There age some hairline scratches in the sapphire which were not noted in the description but it’s a 10 year old plus watch. To be expected. Other than than its perfect. Its more beautiful than my submariners, and I wasn’t expecting that. |
