Up for sale is the highly sought after and collectible 42mm Omega Speedmaster Silver Snoopy with BOX, PAPERS, & BOTH OEM STRAPS (steel bracelet and blue textile). This fun piece was made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Silver Snoopy award presented by NASA in 1970 for Omega’s contribution to space exploration and for the Speedmaster’s role in saving Apollo 13. You have the classic Speedmaster looks with some sharp design cues such as the blue on white dial design with blue bezel, a 50th Anniversary Snoopy left sub-dial, and a quirky yet beautifully designed “Eyes on the Stars” caseback. Here we have Snoopy riding a Command and Service Module through space when the chronograph is activated, a rotating Earth disc that rotates once per minute according to the small seconds hand, along with a stunningly designed moon and space with stars motif.

This is a true work of art that is cemented in horology history. Thanks to its sophisticated yet fun design, it’s a piece that could work well in either casual or formal events thanks to the inclusion of both the OEM steel bracelet and OEM blue textile strap. The watch is running well with no issues and the crystal is clean with no nicks or scratches that I can see. The case, steel bracelet, and clasp look near mint with little to no discernible wear. The caseback and crown appear to have some swirls on the steel that is more noticeable under studio lighting and our macro photography lens. The blue textile strap looks unworn.
