Too Big for a 7 In Wrist?

Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think? The Tudor GMT has a 50 mm lug-to-lug on a 7 inch wrist. I occasionally get glimpses of it on my wrist and it looks too big. It is 2 mm lug-to-lug larger than my GMT II and never had that "too large" sense with my BLNR.

I think it looks ok… and you may tighten up the bracelet, a bit… nice watch, though…

Thanks! That may be part of the issue - the bracelet is as small as is tolerable! It is an aftermarket jubilee band. May have to give the OEM bracelet a run and see if I have the same sense.

Not too big, just too loose. I’ve got a 6.75” wrist and bought a Deepsea today. Your watch fits just fine.

I think it works but I can also sympathize with your take, once I have this thought the watch grows on me daily and it has to go

Also note that a white dial wears bigger than a black dial on the same model.

It works. Maybe tweak the bracelet(OEM).

Might be an optical illusion with the pic. I have both the Opaline and black dial GMT's, have a 7.25 in wrist and when I look at the pics I took they look very large on my wrist, similar to yours. However, in person they just don't look that big and seem perfectly fine on my wrist.

Note - agree with others to tighten the bracelet. My jubilee is an US and I just love it over the standard Tudor bracelet.

May I suggest moving it up your wrist a bit, and tightening the bracelet. If you do those two things, it will wear, and look better.

You can pull it off wearing it up on the wrist. Take a picture in a full length mirror from 3-4 feet away.

A little too loose and I'd try wearing it slightly higher up on your wrist. Not too big though.

Adjust the aftermarket bracelet and all will be well. I have my Tudor GMT on an Uncle Seiko Jubilee but with the Tudor clasp. In this config it is perfection.

Wear above the wristbone, not below.

The watch looks great and is not too large. Properly size the bracelet and wear it on your wrist not your hand.

Have to agree w/ the general consensus, looks fine except for the bracelet adjustment.

Agree that white dial watches tend to wear a little larger than black dials. But you're fine either way.

Looks ‘off’ since it’s flopping around below your wrist, looks like guys wearing DDs in the 80s.

Too Big for a 7 In Wrist?

If you’re comparing it to your BLNR, then I can relate to that. I have 7.5” wrists and think the BLNR fits much better on me than my 42mm Seamaster. But the reality is that my Seamaster doesn’t fit bad on me. I can definitely wear it. For reference, the Seamaster is dimensionally comparable to your Tudor GMT.
