Warranty Cards, some typed, some hand written...
Anyone know why some are typed and some are hand written?

In my experience the typed cards usually come from the Watches of Switzerland group.

It depends on the AD. Some have the card printer, others have stamps, and most still probably hand write using Sharpie or pen.

Mine are all written in European date format, with a Sharpie.
