I don't know about the movement, but the cutouts for the pushers don't look right to me. They're very deep.

It’s a Valjoux 72 dressed up like a 727 with fake parts. Finishing is horrible.

THat's why i asked about it, especially leverages seems straight, not rounded and gentled.

I think that there are many around the market, that's why i asked.

The 727 stamp can be seen under the balance

Yes the photo comes from that seller, want i would like to understand is how these movements can pass through auction houses like Christie's, Phillips, Antiquorum on their Watches for bid?

Before i would purchase my first HW Daytona, I would look a lot into the RPR homepage and VRF / TRF posts. I also highly recommend the book of Carlo Pergola. He also offers a "expertise" service which is worth every penny.

Handwinding Chronographs are a minefield and since the prices massively grew up, the fakes or frankens are getting more and more.
People re engrave 6239s to 6240s, change dials and so on.
Fake parts are spread all over the world and as Jose frequently researches, they are even offered by high grade auctions.
Most quality stuff is in the high 5 figures or low to middle 6 figures and many details are important for a good price and the authenticity. The movements are here -as far as i think- the lower point.
Due to the circumstances that 72s have been used in thousands of 60s-70s chronos, a experiences watchmaker or faker is able to change all the relevant parts or simply modify them as you can see in the eBay selling offers of the mentioned seller.

Those auction houses just want to make money and they sometimes have people working there who have no clue or are just overwhelmed, so they miss stuff. Treat them just like a fancy eBay.

I sometimes work with these auction houses in the art world. They often make mistakes. They hire kids right out of college and pay them nothing.
