It doesn’t matter what their patents show. Many corporations constantly invest in filing patents, copyrights, trade marks, etc. Rolex could sit on it for a while or this year could be the year.

Though yes, on a long enough timeline Rolex will probably release a new Deadpool (was Coke, but modern Deadpool colors).

Rolex did huge mistake by making Pepsi in SS when it was offered in WG. BLNR was already in SS and they could have just released Coke in SS and done with it but instead they made Pepsi in SS too and then worked on adjusting the WG version by giving out new dial, all that extra work.

Ideally makes sense to have Pepsi in WG as it has 2 colors on bezel and everything else is black + half color like BLNR, Coke or new left green GMT. All these 3 can be SS and Pepsi should have been always WG.

I prefer the Pepsi over a Coke if they release it anyway. I'm so glad I managed to get one.

I read through the whole patent. Didn't see the word "coke" a single time. Therfore it's safe to say with 100% certainty "coke" is not confirmed.
Now RONR on the other hand, that's a possibility.

Is the patent related to the process of making ceramic black specifically or is it more general? Could the new process be used for other colors, like blue?

Coke is often most popular, I think a few Presidents like the Coke or Pepsi one of the two, can’t remember, not to mention the amount of money hunting down the culprits who sell those cracking pieces.

I’m praying for an Orange and Black bezel, and someone calls it the ‘Fanta’, just so there’s a new nickname, it’s hilarious seeing people riled by a name for a watch .. I do think some are silly, but it’s fun .. and a watch ..

Nobody will know until next month - but having said that, I'd say it's quite likely we will see it. What with all the commentary about Pepsi bezels, supply and the fact that it has not been seen since 2008.

In the patent, is mentioned clearly red and black ceramic bezel.

Agree that a lot of companies do that. But if you do a search on all Rolex Patents, at least Rolex does not mass produce patents.

I agree if Rolex did not make Pepsi Stainless Steel version, that product line would be perfect.

The talk of the patents is nothing new. We'll just wait for W&W for facts.
