Female End Link question
As a person with skinny wrists, I find that the end links make all the difference when I wear vintage/neo vintage 40mm sports models
I only wear bracelets with female end links but ive been noticing that even some bracelets/female endlink combo with dont pivot straight down in a 90 degree manner Im assuming this is due to the shape of the last link of the bracelet? The example shown on the GMT is ideal for me (end links that pivot 90 degree down) The 2nd example shown in the Air King is a female end link (78350, 557b) but doesnt pivot straight down Does anyone have any resources to share the correct bracelet/female end link that can pivot/wrap fully around the wrists? I am on the market for a 16700 Appreciate it! |

Are you sure it's a fundamental difference in design, vs the tightness of the particular link? Maybe when you are considering a particular watch, you can just ask for a photo showing the bracelet hanging down so you can judge for yourself.

I believe its the fundamental difference in design but cant confirm, others might be able to chime in as well. I noticed that bracelet in later years tend to not pivot fully downwards even if they dont have SELs
Dont have two bracelets from those 2 era together at hand unfortunatelty |

The shape of the last centre link differs on later made bracelets. I believe it was changed to stop the centre link rubbing on the engravings between the lugs.
