Daytona 126506

Wanted to get a new version Daytona...didn't think this one would happen so quickly.

Love it on the wrist...I'm a complete sucker for a blue dial...I really like the open caseback...I have a couple Daytonas going back to the P serial days - liking the smaller indices and sub rings on the new platinum version.

It's a joy to wear

P-serial for the win!

The P-serial was the first 6-digit Daytona, and it came out in 2000, the first year that Rolex released any 6-digit watch, but I wonder was the Daytona the first 6-digit Rolex? I can't find what was released alongside it in Baselworld 2000, but I think there was a Day Date.
