Is this acceptable?

Just realized that there is a small black dot at the bottom of 10 hour indices on my 62MAS diver. This is my first Seiko watch and I'm wondering if this is normal on Seiko watches. Would this bother you guys a lot?

Maybe my expectation is too high on Seikos...?

That's nothing. I've seen worse on a new Rolex.

Ditto
Now if we were talking about a Grand Seiko, it might be cause for some consternation.

I'm not an MD, but you should add more fiber to your diet & stay well hydrated.

Best advice: don't look at your watches through a loupe

Yep. You may not like what you see on any watch.

Would not bother me a lot. If you can't live with it, see if you can get it swapped out.

Astigmatism, and now farsightedness, have sorted such issues for me... I wouldn't be bothered by such minor blemish.
