JJ's spot on - and it does make the date that little bit more legible in bright light.

Wish the RSC would AR the cyclops on all cyclops'able models. It would be a real nice upgrade, especially considering that it can be done so easily!

How can that be done without sending the watch to RSC? I've seen a picture of an AR cyclops on TRF and it looks super nice, I really want that upgrade myself but though you need to get a special crystal with the AR cyclops. I also hope this wasn't just a tricky photography... Can I upgrade my existing cyclops somehow? Thanks...

I think it's on the outside
I see a purple tint at certain angles
it's crazy it looks like nothing is covering the date

That's exactly the look I'm going for! How can that be achieved?

I've already told you......the AR coating is only on the inside.......which takes care of the reflections and produces the clean, flat look on the date.

Oh, and how would one get that AR coating on the inside? Can it be done during the service? Thanks, JJ.

Good question, but I don't think any and every AD would have either the technology nor the right equipment to do this.

This internal AR coating is done at the Geneva factory itself at the time of manufacture. Not sure if any AD could cope with it.
