GMT SS or WG blue dial
Seems like the SS version is by far the most popular. But if both were available would you go with the SS or WG blue dial version?

I have owned both. Kept the blue dial Pepsi. It is one of my favorite watches in the catalogue.

From the AD? The SS all day long. Way more bang for your buck.

White gold, no question. Stainless is nice, but not in the same league.

If we are talking Pepsi's, my order of operation would be as follows:
WG Meteorite SS Jubillee SS Oyster WG Blue dial. |

There’s obviously a huge white elephant in the room …. Price
That said, if money is not an issue and it purely comes down to aesthetics and wearability, I prefer the SS. It’s lighter on the wrist, and you can get it with the jubilee bracelet which is more comfortable (to me) than the oyster. I also prefer the gloss black dial |

I have owned the WG with the black dial and the SS on Jubilee and I prefer the SS. The WG is nice and the blue dial is very cool but based on the price difference and wear, I prefer the SS.

I'd get the SS and use the money saved on another Rolex.

Price aside, I like the look of the black dial over blue and with the SS you get the option to have both bracelets.
If WG, 116719 is the one for me. |

This is great debate. I have the SS Pepsi in jubilee and love it but have pondered moving it to the WG version. Meteorite is my top choice but price on the gray market is crazy. I have considered the blue dial but not sure how much it sings to me. My AD has only gotten one Meteorite so I don't see getting it that way.

If the choice is only between these two, WG blue dial all day long.
The AD list for the WG GMT II Pepsi is much shorter than for the SS GMT II Pepsi. I have a thing for WG too. |

Yes! Life's too short for SS The problem is once you go PM... it's very hard to go back "down" the catalog IMO.

WG with blue dial is a special watch I would take over my SS anyday--and I love my SS BLRO.

I have the SS on Jubilee (and oyster). I’ve debated “swapping” it with a WG, but I like the jubilee too much. If they made a white gold jubilee, that would be my pick.
