New Air-King ? Or Seamaster NTTD grey
So I can get the new 126900 from my AD. Have a sub 114060 and will keep this.
The Air-King is growing on me. I didnt like the older version 116900. Too thick, but when I tried the new one on my arm is was really comfortable and nice. And green is my favourite colour. Regarding Rolex I like the watches with brushed bracelets as I like them under the radar. I also like the Seamaster NTTD who is same price in the grey marked as a new AK. But already have a diver. The thing is I see in my country they sells for under retail at grey so its not like with other Rolex watches you are safe if you dont like it you can always sell it and not loose money. I also have no purchase history with any AD`s as I have never bought a brand new watch. Go for it ? |

Forget money because if you sell either the omega or air king it will be less than retail.
Question is, which do YOU prefer….then go for it |

Airking! Its a great watch on the wrist and should certainly be obtainable - Take a talk with you AD (nothing to lose) or go grey if price is similar

I gotten the new AK recently as I found the previous iteration too thick and off-symmetry on the dial. Was on the fence, but that changed when I tried the new one and it was so comfortable that it keep ringing in my head. And the rest is history, its a very balanced design and rarely seen in the wild.
Prior to this, i was also considering heavily on omega SM but it just didnt quite sing to me so that didnt take place. Buy what you like and what is comfortable on you. |

I have both. Both are clearly fantastic watches. The NTTD wears amazing well. The only complaint is the dial colors tend to wash out not making it easy to tell the time in certain light.
The AK has the busy dial that takes a second or two to get used to but makes it unique. Out of the two, I prefer the AK, but it is very close between them. You really can't go wrong with either of them if you prefer one over the other. |

Agreed. I am not a fan of the Air King, but there is nothing wrong with it. I own the Omega NTTD Seamaster. While it is a diver, it wears, looks, and feels completely different than my 124060. The titanium, bracelet look and feel, and thinness of the watch makes it unique.
The only thing I would strongly advise is that you try it on on the bracelet first. The bracelet is very finnicky. It fits me perfectly, but I can easily see how it can be an annoyance if it does not. It looks absolutely beautiful, feels great on the wrist, but there is no microadjustment at all. You are slave the eyelets. If the standard bracelet doesn't fit well, the shorter version might align better. Titanium does scratch easier and it doesn't self heal the way some time people claim. The warm feel on the wrist and grey color however are fantastic. |

Ive owned the current reference AK for about 2 months and absolutely love it. The dial is unlike any other Rolex (not many people recognise it as a Rolex I find) and helps it fly under the radar if you don’t want the attention. The power reserve is something in the region of 70 hrs which is certainly no deal breaker given it’s a time only watch, but love that it still beating away between Friday and Monday while I wear something else.
The Omega looks a beauty. I have heard the buckle / clasp may not fit well on all wrists. Definitely seek to try both on before deciding, you know when it’s right. Good luck! |

I have the 126900 and think it is fantastic. Very different from the Omega though...
