A watch most people ignore by now
As the hype on this died long ago, I continue to appreciate how functional and durable it is. For the price, especially market price on used, it's probably the best GMT price to value wise. Been to mountains and ocean with me though I feel I don't wear enough of it

Looking great! I love seeing watches getting used how they were intended. I considered this one before pulling the trigger on a BLNR, but I kept seeing issues with the date wheel on the Tudor GMT movements. Have you ever had any issues out of it or had to send it for service? I'd love to get one as a travel watch to places I maybe wouldn't want to bring my BLNR

Best travel watch I own
I wear mine whenever I travel and it sees a lot of water time as well. In my opinion the dial is the easiest to read of all my GMT's which include a GS.

Have had mine since June 2018 and it's my daily still. Had a BLNR on order and turned it down when this was released. Had the date issue in late July 2018 but was repaired in under 6 weeks and keeping perfect time to date.

I haven’t had any issues with my Tudor Opaline GMT, but I haven’t owned it for quite a year yet so it’s still pretty new

The BB GMT [sorry for the same constant refrain] has been my favorite watch since it was purchased new in early 2019. It has 5 digit charm w/ modern construction & performance. Plus, it looks great strapped to anything.

It's an excellent watch and you can pick them up for <$3K on the preowned market. I do miss mine from time to time. Did a lot of trips with that watch.

Had one on a Jubilee but didn't feel it sat right on my 6.5" wrist. Tudor (Rolex) if your listening: 39/13mm GMT + Pepsi bezel + Opaline Dial + 5 Link bracelet (Jubilee) = Homerun.
I'm sure Tudor knows this. Hopefully releasing coke version first was a set up for a future surprise. |

I bought one because I knew that it would be near impossible for me to get the Pepsi from an AD. This was a good substitute. I do still want a Pepsi, but ever since I got my Batgirl back in January, I am satisfied for now.
The Tudor GMT was my first Tudor and first GMT. Unfortunately, it doesn't get the wrist time that it deserves.

Kudos on the post OP!
Reminds me of what Rolex used to be it. The only caveat being it’s height. If you’re ok with being top heavy, I agree it’s a phenomenal value. I still prefer it to the other entry level flyer GMT’s that have been introduced in the last few years. |
