5226G Thoughts/Experiences ?
Hey. I currently can’t seem to be able to get a 5226 out of my mind. I did look at them back after release, and to be honest at the time was a little underWhelmed. Since then the reference has grown on me. I’ve not had one on the wrist in a few years. I’m worried that it might wear big on a smallish wrist. AD will have one to try on in August.
Any members with positive / negative owner feedback ? Thanks. |

I’ve recently got one, as my first PP. the size isn’t an issue, honestly. I’m 6’1, completely average build, edging on dad bod. The size is smaller than the Montblanc timewalker I have been wearing, and, maybe for the first few days, I thought was a little small. But, I love the watch. The tan strap is amazing. The clarity of the dial is incredible, and the white gold is perfect.
I don’t regret my purchase for a second… |

Probably the best casual calatrava. Great lumed arabic hour markers too.

Hi there,
just a few thought after owning that watch for a few weeks i have a relatively small wrist, like 17cm and find it just the right size, modern, easy to read but not too big. I have it on the deployant and had to order a strap with 125/55mm. This is key to have the deployant at the right place, under the wrist and not on the side. The watch has plenty of interesting details, the lugs, dial, clouds de Paris on the side. I like that you keep those for yourself, it is a very discrete watch that will not attract any attention. I wear it daily for a few weeks, travelling, weekends, office, it works well in any circumstances, perfect for me between a grail that you don't want to wear daily and a sport watch for any water activity. ps: the strap is a black taurillon from Camille Fournet |

I really like the dial on this and the other complications in the series. Not typical Patek, but it’s a nice modern, casual look.

I’ve had my eye on this reference as well. I like the casual/modern vibe.
