Finding the ‘Rolex Coronet @ 6:00….
After days of staring at the face of my SD trying to find the etched coronet it appeared like magic! It was anxiety on steroids! Such relief!

I know the feeling. Took me several days to find them on both of my watches. I knew they had to be there, because I bought them at an AD. I was determined to see them, though. Then, like you said, they suddenly magically appeared. ![]() ![]() Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I can see it sometimes when I take a photo with the flash on my cell phone. Really the only time I can see it.

The cell photo with flash usually works. I can also see etching using a 10X LED loupe. It does take moving the watch to a few different angles to see!

I've found that older watches, like my BLNR from 2016 is easier to see than the two newer (2023+) watches that I've acquired.
The BLNR I can easily find the coronet with just my phone's magnification app. The othe two I've had to use a 10x loupe. |

Try using your phones flashlight against the crystal and view at a sharp angle with watch face pointing away from you.

I’ve found that using my iPhone’s flashlight and a 10x loupe, while looking at the rehaut at 6:00 area works best.

I only have six posts, so I couldn't post the full URL:

Do you mean 2018 Sub?
Are you asking about the laser etched coronet? If so, there many LEC threads. Otherwise, it could be a newly issued movement. |

That's pretty suspiscious assuming you're not talking about the LEC.

No, the etched ‘crown’ is there as should be the crown between Swiss and made started with the ‘12’series.

A lot of fakes have excellent etched coronets , look almost too good ..
But I admit once found its reassuring ..
