"Fly Me to the Moon"

Saw the movie today, July 16, 55 years to the day after the Apollo 11 blast off.
Really enjoyed it.... especially the inclusion of the Omega Speedmaster.

Along those same lines, I really did like the film First Man.
Thought the scenes shot 'on the moon' were extraordinary.
Visually, some of the best film making I've ever seen.

I watched the trailer for First Man last night. Thank you for confirming what I saw. Looks like a great movie. It is next on my movie list. Just need to set 2+ hours aside.

Went to see this yesterday, and also enjoyed it.
I'm a sucker for the whole golden age of NASA thing, so I was an easy mark.
Thought the flight director role should have been left to an actor about 10-15 years older, but if that's your big gripe with a movie, you made out okay.

And you're right, the Speedmaster angle was a great little nugget.

I'm a sucker for any movie with a 105.012-65 in it!
Owned this one for 10 years.
