Scam.

Some massive, incredibly sophisticated scams going around at the mo',
involving all banks.
DO NOT click on any message saying a payment hasn't been taken.
As soon as you touch it, they have your details and your money is gone.
Banks in the UK, are being inundated with calls.

Be vigilant, people!!

It gets worse, apparently the links, allegedly from the police and 'financial advisors', could be or are, part of the scam.

I received an email from the Social Security Administrations stating people who created an on-line account must log on and get the newer version of their web portal or something to that extend. Never even finished the email thinking it was a phishing email.

I deleted the email immediately and a day later I saw it on the news that it was indeed real. I felt like a fool for a minute but at least I was vigilant. One can never too cautious these days.
