SS Daytona white dial or SS BLRO?
If you potentially could get one of the above which one would it be?

If 116500 Panda it's no contest it will be Panda. If it's the new white 126500 then still the Daytona will have a slight edge, because the Pepsi is the best GMT in my opinion. Both will be produced by Rolex for years to come. Get one now and you will have time to get the other later, You need both in a collection in my opinion.

Been there, done that, have the BLRO. You do you. It's not like you're comparing apples with apples, they couldn't be much more different.

Apples vs oranges. Daytona is in a higher tier of Rolex regardless what you pay than the BLRO so the SS Daytona, obviously. Street prices then it’s a money game between $32K vs $20k. I own both and can’t go wrong with either. The GMT on Jubilee is a better daily over the pcl on the Dayton if you want to hide scratches.

The Daytona always wins this popularity contest.
I’m with Richard … what else do you have in your collection? I went with BLRO, but I have a 321 that fills the chronograph quota. |

I have a white 116500 and a 116710BLNR. I'd go with the GMT if I could only own one...

Daytona mostly because they wear perfectly for me but you’re winning with either one on your wrist.

Pepsi's are neat, but I don't really put them on as high a pedestal as some folks might. |

If you have a chance to get a Daytona from an AD at MSRP, grab it. You'll get more bang for the buck over a GMT Pepsi if you plan to resell it.
If you're like me and keep watches, then it comes down to your personal taste. I am a Daytona guy 1st and a GMT II guy second. |

No comparison Daytona is the most prestigious and sought-after SS model, and you only have 2 configurations, black or white. Also, the Daytona is one of the thinnest chronos in the industry with a very advanced and well-regarded movement among the top in the industry.
PEPSI is the most hyped SS watch in 2023, especially with discontinuation rumors. It is a nice watch, but there are many alternative SS GMT within Rolex line up so the GMT SS model is not as unique. |

I own both.
Frankly, I prefer the look and comfort of the BLRO on jubilee over the Daytona. Since I like to travel a lot, the GMT function gets it much more wrist time than either of my Daytona. |

Easy decision for me as I don't care for Daytona models and consider the BLRO Rolex finest model.

BLRO…Way more distinctive as a GMT model vs. any Daytona, which looks like most all chronographs to me. Chronographs pretty much blend into a crowd IMO ( except for the Speedy)

I’m not a Daytona fan only because I use the date function way more than a chronograph function. I do use the GMT function while traveling, and to have the option in an emergency to use the GMT function as a compass is crazy!!!
