Any of these out there?

Currently I have an unhealthy obsession with this one. Any owners out there yet? Grey market 22-24K USD, as in nearly double MSRP. Not interested at that price but hopeful my AD comes through. Thoughts? Impressions?

It’s a nice GMT but I would not pay grey market premium for it.

Agree.

I think the steel GRNR really has to be an AD purchase. Makes no sense to pay ~$10k more for it over the previous gen LN, even with the new jubilee.

Just get on a list and be patient, this will be the more readily available GMT after the novelty wears off

I prefer the “all-black” 116710LN. Never did Rolex do a better 6 digit GMT imho.

This ones just “ok” for me.

I had the 116710LN when it was trading for around 8k. (2007-08?).
You're right. It was perfect. Except I prefer the Jubilee.
I sold it. BIG mistake. Amongst several others.

Great looking reference but not worth the premium to me

Great looking watch but for me not worth the almost double in price from the greys. Hopefully you can secure one through your AD

I think the grey market will eventually position at or below the BLNR

I got to try one on a few weeks ago at an AD. The Ceramic LN is definitely at the top of my list, but seeing it in person, the GRNR on Jubilee would damn sure scratch that itch.

I love this reference too on the jubilee. I am on a list and trying to be patient, without much success haha.

Looks like the old discontinued 116710 to me, and I sold it in less than a week. Pass.

Incoming today...

Originally I saw the watch at W&W and was not overly impressed by the color combination, however wanted to reserve judgement until I had a chance to give it some wrist time....after trying it on a few months back decided like many that if I could attain it at retail i would do so, especially on jubilee....fast forward to today when I was lucky enough to purchase the watch from an AD....

First thought is that the watch definitely has a place amongst its brethren as it allows for an understated look as opposed to the colorful vibe of the other 3 stainless GMTs, yet with the jubilee bracelet you still get that glint of 'Rolex pizzaz' (I can hear the chuckles) when the light hits it....thus making me think the oyster variant would be even more understated in appearance....

Also, as stated in another thread, a differenting factor is that the grey part of the bezel looks very different to the bright color bezel parts of the other GMTs, as it gives a translucent almost pearlescent effect that somehow blends in with the black section of the bezel which is very cool...

Final thoughts are at Retail this reference is a buy but would not pay over....however if I could only have one GMT that honor would still go to the BLNR....

Will post pics with the other 3 GMTs on jubilee for comparison when I'm back home next week....

I have seen exhibition models of both this and the tutone version, both very nice pieces. I’m a BLRO guy but I do appreciate the understated look of this…but only at retail.

That’s awesome! Though I initially read your post as Rolex “pizza”, rather than “pizzazz”.

I like the new GMT. Was offered one but decided to wait for the one was first on my list. That paid off for me a few weeks later when the Daytona came in.

It’s on my wish list. In the new Rolex Mag, it’s heavily featured. Try to pick one up, if you don’t already have one. (# 12)

Not for me.
Found it underwhelming.
But tastes vary.

It’s a cool look, and definitely looks better in person. I like the color with the Batman though
