I'm absolutely in love with this watch

IMHO this is the perfect watch. I know most don't prefer the green dial, but I love it and wouldn't want it any other way.

I tried on the black dial a few month ago, it's a very heavy watch. My arm was sore the next day.

I had the oppertunity to try both the green and black dial versions on at the watch show.
Most impressive!! I'll admit to a preference for the black, and yeah, they're heavy!

Part of the pleasure I get from my 1675 is the slender case and the light weight.
If there is a new GMT with the more solid, thicker case, I will be interested to see if it feels as good as my 1675.
I find the Green Sub and the SD a little heavy in comparison to the 1675 and from what I can see a SS GMTII with the thicker lugs may upon it's release be the heaviest SS Rolex on the market.

I'm sorry, guys. I just can't get myself to like the green dial, especially with the all gold around it. It doesn't work for me. But then the LV Sub does nothing for me either. Maybe I'm a stick in the mud, but give me basic black and SS on a tool watch.

It has a triplock crown, maxi dial. Different dial color, so why don't Rolex call it a GMT III?

Anyone know how much the 18kt one weighs (grams)?

Let's see now....the TT Blue Sub definitely weighs 148 grams and the new TT GMT-II is heavier...so I would guess around 165 grams because of the SOLID gold links.

The FULL gold new GMT-II, my guess would be....well over 200 grams, in fact, close to around 250 grams. (The SS OMEGA P.O. 45.5 mm weighs 222 grams).

I love the green dial. It would look even better if they added a green bezel. I hate the gold though. They need to make that watch in stainless.

I was in an AD trying to decided between a Black Face or White face Daytona and tried the Gold Green Face GMT II on and bought it on the spot. Love it and most of all you will not see it very often.
