Now i have a question about a tudor prince date chrongraph. I have won this watch a ebay from someone living in birmingham (GB) It's tis watch http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI...=STRK:MEWNX:IT i have been searching for photo's of this dial but wasn't able to find more than one. Do u think the watch is genuine , i surely hope so. Is this dial rare or..... i'm asking this question because the seller acts weird on my questions and now i have some doubts. I'm gona pay the watch via paypal (gives some assurance i supose) Thx for helping me out. |

Hello and welcome to TRF! Although I can't say for sure if the watch is genuine, I can say that I have seen that dial before. Sorry, but I don't know if it's rare or not.
The only other observation I would make is that the crown on this watch shows the Tudor "shield'', which to me is interesting because all the Tudor chronos I've seen which are similar to this model had the Rolex "crown'' on their crowns. I'm sure the experts on TRF will soon weigh in with their advice. Good luck and once again, welcome! |

Yoeri, welcome to the forum. I don't know much about that watch, but I'm sure someone will chime in about 6 hours. It's early in the morning now in the States. I looked at the listing and the seller seems okay. Seller has been a member since 2005 with 100% positive feedback. However, it concerns me that he has not sold for almost 10 months and there's no way to tell what he sold previously and for how much. With that many unknown, I would not take the chance on such an expensive item. Pictures, descriptions and email response are very easy to fake. Many here will tell you to "buy the seller" and not the watch. Very good advice to follow. Good luck!

help on this one
mm but the seller accepts paypal as a payment and isn't it so paypal and ebay garantee the item if paid buy paypal if the watch appears not to be authentic at arrival?
if so the risk is very small isn't it? |

Hi Yoeri, Welcome to TRF...
I'd say the watch is OK, the modern Tudor does have the Tudor logo not the Rolex crown. The seller I am not sure as he has NO recent sales with which to gauge any past behaviour. Ebay does NOT provide any protection at all, paypal does however. For this sort of money I would not be buying here, just my thoughts, good luck with whatever you do. |
