Tough decision - two watch collection

Hi guys,

I have owned several Rolex models in the past four years (Rootbeer, Bluesy, Sub, DJ41), I liked DJ41 and Bluesy. Currently I only have Batgirl which I like but I've been wearing it everyday for the last two years. I'm over 40 now and I like TT watches more and more. I prefer rose gold over yellow gold but there aren't many options. I would like to have 2 watches in my collection.

Although I like TT watches, I really like the new Bruce Wayne GMT because it's so elegant and it's timeless.

I'm thinking of two options:
1. To sell my Batgirl and bought 126710GRNR and add 126331 with Wimbledon dial.
2. To sell my Batgirl and bought 126713GRNR and add Bluesy

I know that this two options are way different but as said, I like all of them, maybe I prefer rose gold over yellow more. What do you think what is the best combo? I can only have two watches so option to add more it's not possible.

Thanks!

Keep what you have and give it time to let the feeling pass.

I’m not sure what to recommend.

If you like rose gold, what didn’t work with the CHNR? You already owned the Bluesy … do you want to give that one another shot?

Personally, if I’m not set on buying a specific watch, I’d stay put as my friend Gus says, until you have more clarity

The CHNR was a blind buy, I didn't tried it before. The problem was with the bezel as it's really brown (ugly for my taste) and I didn't liked it. I sold Bluesy as I needed cash, otherwise I think it would still be here.

Yeah, I think I still need more time...

AXiON,
Today I actually tried on the 126331 because of the rose gold, grey dial. As I own several black dial watches I am looking for something with color. The yellow gold being too loud for me.
The rose gold (pink gold) with Wimbledon dial looks great as the colors provide contrast.
You would buy the Bluesy again?

I think DJ41 Wimbledon looks better with rose gold, as you already said, because of the contrast. Looks amazing.
About Bluesy, yes I would. It's a great watch, the blue dial is amazing. But I would say it's more a "summer" watch.

I’d keep the BLNR and add the TT of your choice.

This. Or at least until you figure out exactly what it is that you want to add.

I can only suggest to you what I would do. I’d keep the BLNR and get a 126113LB.

I'd keep the BLNR and add a TT Datejust.

Tough decision - two watch collection

Two options to consider:

#1: Swap your BLNR jubilee for the GRNR jubilee. And then add your favorite TT (bluesy?).

#2: Keep what you have and add the TT 126713 GRNR. Redundancy be damned!

I had a very difficult time deciding between the SS GRNR jubilee and the TT GRNR. Both are fantastic.

i highly recommend the Wimbledon Rose Gold....when I took my Pepsi for service, i was wearing the 126331 and the wonderful rep ( Kern's Jewelry in Burlingame) could not stop complimenting.
it is an amazing piece...

I would not get rid of batgirl for bruce wayne. Keep the BLNR.

From there, add which-ever TT watch you like best.

I like this option, too. I have a TT Wimbledon, and it’s an amazing watch. The yellow gold makes it pop more than the rose gold.

I think #1 makes a lot of sense. So does staying put though.

Don’t like #2 at all. Too much TT there.

Have to say keep the BLNR and add Bluesy or TT Wimbledon.

Down the line if you aren’t happy trade the BLNR for GRNR of your choice.

Either way you have a great watch collection.

I'd keep the BLNR and add a RG TT DJ with a Sundust dial.

I’d be keeping the Batgirl and for me the Bluesy would get my vote over a DJ. The question would be you buy them because you like them so in the case of the Bluesy why would you revisit something you’ve already had? Maybe take your time and get something you really want to keep

Each to their own of course, but for me this is the nicest SS GMT.

Either of these are great options. Not underestimating how hard it is to decide which though.

How do you feel about Sub vs GMT vs DJ36/41? Oyster vs Jubilee?

Its interesting that you like Rose Gold, and you like TT, but you dislike whats arguably the nicest TT RG watch in the lineup. (CHNR).

How long has it been since you tried it on? Tastes change.

I will quote myself, I answered this question earlier: "The CHNR was a blind buy, I didn't tried it before. The problem was with the bezel as it's really brown (ugly for my taste) and I didn't liked it." Brown is not my color...
