Ceramic Bezel PO is a reality..
http://blog.perpetuelle.com/index.ph...ocean-is-here/
This is a limited edition (1948 pieces [First year of the Seamaster]) Planet Ocean with standard 2500c movement. The differences are a new ceramic bezel with hardened "glass metal" over it. It also features a glossy dial, applied arabics, applied OMEGA wording, and red applied "Seamaster" script. It looks AWESOME! Obviously! |

I like it, but a lumed sapphire bezel (like the Ploprof) would have been the icing on the cake.
Still, nice looking watch I would consider owning. |

I think that this pretty much tells you that ceramic is here to stay on dive watches...
I like the way they have captured the ceramic in a stainless channel with the stainless band to the inside.... I wonder if Blancpain will change from their sapphire bezel to the ceramic...

lovely look...I'd love to add the walther-grip dial of the limited PO to that ceramic bezel...I think that would be the BEST combo of all, cuz I love that dial and this bezel :)

Stunning.
I wonder if this bezel will eventually feed through onto regular production PO'S ? If it does, I wonder if that will impact price considering the LE is going to be marketed for something in the region of $US 6,000?

One thing I really like about it is it wont cost a mint to replace ifya drop the sucker and shatter it like a ROLEX. I can see there isnt a gold inlay of numerals, so I hope they do it like the Ploprof lumed bezel; I might get one if they do ! Thanks, Randy |

Very nice looking. I'm wondering what sizes it comes in. Can't wait to see more pictures of it as well. They have a release date on this yet?

Yeap, we'll be looking back talking about the good old days when Omega's were cheap very soon.
