Your hopes for Omega as a brand in 2025
Just curious - What steps should Omega take to improve their market position in 2025?
While Omega has moved away from endless limited editions, than i do think that their lineup still feels a bit messy. For example, there are five overall Speedmaster models with no clear "red thread" and 110 underlying variations. The same is the case for the beloved Seamaster. Im not sure what they are trying to achieve with the "De Ville" line-up, and "Constellation" seems somewhat forgotten. This year’s releases have been solid and generated some hype, but i dont think that they are getting the best out the brand. The value offering remains too broad and from my perspective lacks clear direction. What are your thoughts and recommendations? I hope for a continued consolidation and a more focused line-up ... and naturally some great releases ![]() |

More choices is not necessarily a bad thing. I like Omega because it is affordable and fun. Rolex also has hundreds of DJs and dozens of Daytona, but Rolex is boring because they have a very limited number of movements and all their innovation is on the outside. I don't want Omega to be like that.
Most regular people purchase an Omega by walking into an ad or boutique and try on watches there, not by browsing their website. So having a big catalogue is not a negative for most buyers. Also De Ville and Constellations are big sellers in Asia, and I see no problems with that. Sent from my Pixel 9 Pro XL using Tapatalk |

How about a non hockey puck size sport GMT for 2025!
In other words, the same request I’ve had for the last 10 years. A new Globemaster would be amazing with a GMT hand as well. |

Control their market prices even better (read: discounts) and this will achieve more of a “prestige,” if one is into that sort of thing. Can’t hurt regardless.

I wonder if Omega could pull off a completely new model/collection in a case that's not round. I'm thinking along the lines of Tank or Gondolo. To be respected it would need a completely new caliber that also is not round, but shaped specifically for the case.
I know, the demand for financial return means it'll never happen, but I feel like Omega should break ground that's truly new. |

A new edition of the Seamaster "Schwerty / Peter Blake" in 40mm and thin case. With ceramic bezel and the metal bracelet of the new Aqua Terra "Shades", without Date and the new FOIS crystal.

I think Omega's releases in 2024 have been nice but a bit lazy. Different colors and takes on existing models. I am looking for a new/redesigned Seamaster and some energy for the brand. I also would like to see Omega stop leaking watches on the wrists of influencers. Just put the product out and let it speak for itself.

Focus on making the watches thinner throughout all the watch lineups.
Include a medium size option for the SMP300 39-40mm range. Have the Helium escape valve much smaller or better yet in the same location but built in rather than protruding. More flexible milanese bracelet, e.g thicker on the watch side and gradually getting thinner nearer to the clasp with a thinner clasp. |

Generally, make their prices more realistic, ie cheeper. Very unlikely.
Ideally, do a remake of the actual first watch on the moon. A professional cased Speedmaster with a 321 movement. Also very unlikely. |

It'll never happen, but I'd love to see a reissue of the Megaquartz Marine Chronometer.
FOIS-style crystal on the 3861 sapphire sandwich seems like low-hanging fruit. |

I think if they have as good a year as they have had this year they will have done well.
I can’t see a redesign of the Seamaster given they’ve just dropped 3 with mesh bracelets. Let’s see. Maybe the PO is due a change up this year. |

I've given up on them and I owned my share from smp (old and new gen), planet ocean, aqua terra and sea master gmt which was the last piece to go.
Both the PO and SMP line need a TOTAL redesign......... Only release I liked this year was the white dial speedy. And I wish they do a new release on this with ceremic bezel and liquid metal dial but I know this will never happen. This is the ONLY Omega I regret selling.

Refreshed and smaller sized Dark Side of the Moon.
A Speedmaster that’s not Moon specific but space exploration themed. 40mm Seamaster. |

I would like to see a re-release of the Seamaster 2907/1 with the 321 movement:

Would likely instabuy from Omega in 2025
- smaller seamaster (40mm, 11-12mm thickness) - smaller Dark side of the moon (I would daily the shit out of this) - more 3861 speedies - 105.012 321 steel - I think they'll save this for some future anniversary though. |

Is it time for another go at the Railmaster yet?
I’m also another one hoping for a 38 or 39mm 300M. |

It may well be that it would be so close to a current Moonwatch that they wouldn't do it, but I would be interested in one. |

![]() I think it's a matter of when, not if. The 3861 moonwatch will always be the modern interpretation, and the 321 the vintage "collector" model. |

Need to get some of the watches thinner. Seamaster diver, planet ocean could be thinner. Dark side range. Needs a new thinner movement!
Improve the bracelets - taper on seamaster, micro adjust on all sports models. Get rid of some of the toss eg diver chronos. That’s seiko’s job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Would love to see a <41mm Seamaster that's at least 3mm thinner than the current iteration. It's just too chonky now.
Something in their line-up that would go head-to-head with the Explorer II would be fun, especially if it had quick-release straps to change from bracelet to rubber. Maybe something more dressy, with a moonphase complication...

The hands on the various models of the Seamaster like those weird "skeleton" ones on the diver, or the ones with the triangles on the ends on the 300 line look nothing like the Seamasters of old. Virtually none of the Omega lines look classic and the only thing one can be sure of is that they will change to something else similarly unimpressive at some point in time. Consistent design language is what makes brands like Rolex great. Omega should take notes. In the meantime, the only Omega I want is the 321 Ed White Speedmaster....any they don't make enough of those.

That Seamasters are not destined for the Swatch treatment.
