My 14060m Y-serial two liner has been my one and only Rolex, as a daily wearer, for 20 years! Recently serviced and ready for another 20!

My 2005 14060M, gifted by my wife on the occasion of our 25th anniversary, was my daily wear for almost 19 years in all conditions, locations, and uses, when I then acquired my second Rolex. Now I alternate between them; however, the Sub will always be my most favorite material possession. It's a timeless piece (see what I did there?).

I recently [I]almost[I] acquired a 14060m. I went back and forth between that, and a NOS 14270 Explorer. Ended up getting the explorer, but your post doesn’t help me feel like I made the correct decision!

Purchased my G serial in 2012 new from my AD with a discount! Those were the days.
I can’t imagine ever getting rid of it.

A lovely classic. IMHO one of the last true divers tool watches (as opposed to jewellery watches)

1997 tritium

I have a 14060 U-serial tritium model I like to wear. I have it on a strap for winter. Can't go wrong with this model.

My original sub was the 114060 but then bought a 14060M to compare wearability. The 5-digit won! Here's my 3rd and final, unpolished G-serial that I'll keep forever. I also had a 16600 SD for a while but gave it away to my son-in-law...

Very nice! Does this black bezel insert have a more pronounced downward taper from dial to bezel edge than the current models do? Just curious. Enjoy!

I got into Rolex for the 6 digit references, then developed a love for the work watch aesthetic from the turn of the century. Here is my 2001 14060M. Love the two lines, lug holes, and small indices. I have it paired with a 1999 16570. Both are complete sets down to the anchor for the Sub. Great watches for anyone looking to do something similar.

Hi Gerry, I owned this random-serial, 4-liner for 6 years (2016-2022). I only sold it due to retirement. If I could win the lottery, lol, I'd buy another one! It's one of the coolest watches that Rolex has ever produced. Low-profile, low-bling tool watch.

Bought and worn for decades. Pure and balanced. An all-time favorite and in the rota. Never serviced yet nuts on. Put the rubber strap on for the tropics/golf.

a 14060m 2-liner was my 1st rolex and luxury level watch purchase. i've picked up a few more since then, but if i could have only 1 watch it would be the 14060m
