Selling in the UK?

Is there a section for selling watches in the UK?
Obviously I can list in the 'sales' section and include my location in my listing but was also wondering where to find a list of UK 'Trusted dealers' as I have a few to sell?

For starters you could as you said, list them in the sales section with your location

You could offer to sell them back to the AD who you purchased from

Let us know how you get on

You can specify your location and state that you will only sell to buyers in the UK if you want to. C24 might also be worth a look.

Watchfinder are always worth a conversation. Their offers are fair, they will barter and their buying process is painless and safe. If you are looking to maximise your profit (or minimise your losses) by selling peer to peer, you obviously take on a higher risk and greater responsibility.

Ebay is a decent choice for the UK. No fees, plus the authenticity guarantee process

eBay mate - the authentication process is good and saves you from being raped by a grey dealer

I’ve found prices realised on eBay to be very low
The authenticating service to be very petty
Not passing an omega as I included a non omega strap in the sale
Madness
No paying buyers
Liars and idiots
Not knowing a watch needs winding
I’ve had a Datejust returned after 3 weeks the buyer saying it didn’t work
I fitted a new strap for the auction which had seen a lot of use
I guess he wore it for a holiday
A zenith returned as above
I could go on

Anyone who using eBay other then to <$100 is deluded, I agree with above.

Not my findings over the last few years and particularly with the authentication programme in place. I’ve sold straps, accessories and watches at £3k plus. I’ve even got a few past buyers messaging me for updates on stock!
OP happy to help.

My Datejust sold for £3500
I sent it to the authenticators
It pasted and was posted to the buyer
I think it took about 7 days to get the money
Not a word from the buyer until he opened a not as described case 3 weeks later
It gets sent back to the authenticators
I call eBay and ask if it was working when sent and is it working now you have it back
As I thought the answer was yes
So eBay knows the buyer was telling lies
But this made no difference he got his money back and after another 7 days I got the watch back
It had clearly been worn
So I appeal
Not a chance of winning but I tried
A waste of a month and £50 in special delivery charges
This has happened several times now
The latest
Zenith defy after 3 weeks a not as described case ,buyer says it’s not working , is opened I get the watch back not only is it running perfectly it’s showing the correct date so the buyers been wearing iit
I contact eBay and they say
Just because it’s working and showing the correct time and date when you received it back doesn’t mean the buyer was abusing the return process!!!!
The omega planet ocean sold for £3500 in the description and photos I showed the replacement strap
Authentication rejected the watch
So I took the strap out of the photos and said I would post seperatly to the buyer
It sold for £3000
This time I complained to eBay and they gave me back my fees as a good will gesture
I could list more examples

Appreciate your time to share your experiences and recommendations.
Ebay sounds like a minefield so will ignore that. Will consider the advice others have given.
Thank you all.
