Rolex 6627identification

Hi, I was considering to purchase a Rolex 6627 I saw on Chrono24, but after searching the internet, I couldn't find the exact model that's being sold here. One of the main issues, is that every other 6627 I've seen has lume behind the hour indices, while this one doesn't appear to have any. Maybe it's fallen off?

Additionally, I'd like someone to authenticate it and see whether they can tell if all the parts are original (most importantly the dial), and whether the dial is has been repainted or not.

I've also contacted the seller asking a few questions, but I thought id reach out on here too for some confirmation.

Thank you for your time.

Yes, its a redial but you arent going to find another dial. If you like it, buy it. The dial is clean, I personally dont think it will detract from it. Very few dials from this era are untouched. Back then, dials didnt get replaced unless you lived in New York or San Francisco and could take your watch directly to Rolex. A local watchmaker would repaint your existing dial. Its how things were done back then.

Personally, I'd have no interest in any Tudor or Rolex watch with a repainted dial.....and I happily entertain old scruffers !

Everything depends on the price...a Date dial is not very difficult to find ;)
