New steel VC 222

Hi everyone

I had the pleasure of getting a personal introduction to the new 222 in the hours before the embargo was lifted.

Simply stunning, it just melts onto your wrist.

Some pics for your enjoyment.

Wonder if in conjunction with their 270th anniversary, all watches sold this year will come with any sort of commemorative swag (like what AP did with the RO for its 50th).

It has been allocated to me, but I can’t actually get it until the boutique receives the next piece. This allows them to show it to other customers.

They expect it to be around two months, perhaps a little less.

The Everest is an all time great!

222 in steel I’d have to see in person I think.

Thank you for sharing. I did try on the gold version and it is very nice indeed. Steel version is even better because it is under the radar. My only concern is scratches. I did not go for AP RO because it is a scratch magnet… wonder how robust 222 is from that perspective.

The only thing that has me puzzled is the hacking movement in a watch without a seconds hand.

You don't need to hack if you don't have a seconds hand.

They have ppf kits for both 16202 and 222, wear without worry

Yes the Everest is a stunning watch.

I wonder if it, or something similar will pop up this year.

I hear you. Strange.

Perhaps a movement to be used in other watches?
