<<< new TV >>>

Well they say happy wife happy life … so Andrea insisted we get one of these “picture TV’s”.

Me, I really wasn’t sold on the idea but hey … now we have a Renoir

That looks good and a lot better than just a black rectangle above the fireplace, while not in use.

The aspen painting is nice, too.

I'm guessing she got sick of your Dogs Playing Poker and your Blacklight Elvis stuff all over the house.

I bet next she gonna convince you to wear a Velvet Smokers Jacket around the house and perhaps smoke a pipe.

You becomin' sophisticated.

Funny you mention that … we actually bought the Samsung Frame, but we had to return it.

We were unaware that along with it comes this “One Connection Box” which is about the size of a cable box … and there was no way to fit that box behind the fireplace wall without some serious renovations So back it went

We went back to the drawing board and discovered that TCL sells a TV called the Nxtframe. All the electronics are built into the low profile screen and there is no external connection box. Much cleaner and easier to deal with.

<<< new TV >>>

Looks great.

You’re wife probably wouldn’t be happy in my house. I got two subwoofers, left and right channels and a center channel in the cabinet. Plus, speakers in the ceiling. I also got the gamer lights going, too.

No fireplace. I didn’t want one since we’re in FL. But many of our neighbors do have one.

Oh man … see that’s what I wanted … a real TV with surround sound etc etc

Instead we’ve got artwork on the wall and we mainly go downstairs to watch the TV

Thanks fellas.

We bought the gilded frame separately on Amazon.

The one that comes with the TV is nice but it’s pretty generic looking.

Looks good. I have a similar setup because we are typically very far back. This wouod greatly improve the aesthetic for us.

Well, you can still see a few bricks of that beautiful fireplace, Brian, and Andrea is happy. Win-win!
