How often can you manually wind a Rolex?

I've been told that manually winding an automatic watch too often wears out parts that weren't meant to be used all the time. How much of an issue is that on a Rolex? I ask because I now have three automatics I'll be wearing as daily wear watches, and I don't know if I need to invest in a winder.

Obviously, I'm most concerned about this on my Patek, as it's the most delicate movement of the three, and have been less worried about my IWC with its ETA base. What's the deal with Rolex?

Absolutely! But be careful - you might "wind" up being accused of winding something else!
