Question on the correctness/authenticity of these Rolex 703 Crowns

I recently purchased what were sold as new in package Rolex 703 Crowns. They were in sealed package marked B24-703-0-G1 which I believe is the correct part number.

They have the long cornet and appear to be like the other 703 crown I have seen but they do not have any crimps and appear to be of monoblock construction.

Are these actually Rolex 703 crowns or was the package mislabeled?

I thought 704 crowns (monoblock) have a short cornet?

Unfortunately I can not get better pictures without opening the package which would make them non-returnable.

.
I don't see any issues with the packaging, as far as authenticity. Looks good.
The crown also appears correct, even with the lousy picture.

Yes, 704 has the shorter coronet.

Thanks for confirming the packaging.

Still concerned about the lack of crimps on a 703 crown. Has anyone seen crowns like this before?

.
There was an earlier version of the 703 akin the 702 (or you call it crimp), later a 703 came out like unibody.

This should help to continue your research to convince yourself...

Got it thanks, I have seem some fake/aftermarket crowns that are sold as 703 crowns that do not have it and just wanted to confirm.

So it is really the length of the cornet that determines if a monoblock crown is a 703 vs a 704 (if it is out of the packaging)?

I always though the 703 had crimps and the 704 was monoblock. I learn something new every day!
