Considering this 3 watch collection for 2025. Thoughts?

With things seemingly starting to ease up with availability, I'm hoping this is the year I get a hold of some of the watches I've been looking for. My AD's parent company is opening a second AD sometime this year, and while my salesperson assured me he would be able to get the bluesy and DD before they open, I'm excited none the less incase he fails to come through. Two ADs is better than one

Right now, I'm thinking of getting these 3 watches for 2025:
-Bluesy (or possibly SS black sub date)
-GMT two tone black and grey bezel
-DD 40 YG white Romans or black with sticks

1.) Is two two tones too much?! Do I get the steel sub instead of the bluesy? I have a lot of other watches, but the only Rolex I have left at this point is a DJ 36 in SS that I might sell, so my Rolex rotation would be two tone or PM.

2.) For the GMT I think the rolesor with jubilee looks amazing, and I prefer the muted black and grey bezel to a batman or Pepsi. Wondering if there will be any big reveals at W&W regarding maybe the addition of glide lock or size increase to 41?

3.) Lastly, for DD, I'm struggling greatly with white dial with Romans or black with sticks. I initially was strongly in favor of the white, but after buying a black TT DJ this year as a gift I was really impressed with the dial. I think it looks way better in real life than on their website. Lume is nearly a necessity for me and the lack of it is one of the few things I dislike about my Cartier watches. The white dial has aesthetic benefits as well though, like the illusion of bigger size and the white on white of the date and day wheel. Sadly I haven't been able to see either in person.

Anyways, just wanted to gather thoughts. I know no one who shares my passion for watches in real life, so I always appreciate opinions of fellow enthusiasts. Also would appreciate pictures of any white and black dial YG DD 40s.

go for it, can only ask, can only expect, and when you get those calls it's a great day, who knows what an AD can provide in the year, all I can say from where I'm living and the AD I use there are more readily available watches for sale .. apart from the usual suspects that take much longer and in greater demand ...

Good luck!
I'd go for the all SS Sub if also adding a TT GMT.
As for W&W, only time will tell.

There is no right or wrong answer here. It’s all about personal preferences.

Personally, I’d prefer flashes of color.

I’d get the GMT BLNR on a jubilee. The champagne dial 40mm DayDate with sticks. And as far as the Sub goes, I’d lean towards the blue dial two tone.

Some might argue there’s a lot of blue there, but you’d still have a black dial watch, a gold dial watch, and a blue dial watch.

Also, I definitely prefer sticks over Roman numerals on the DD, and I’d rather a TT Sub than a TT GMT. Again, it’s a matter of personal preference.

From your choices….id go…bluesy, (especially if you’re getting black/grey gmt) jubilee GMT, DD40 (either dial will be a good choice)

I have four two tone watches, so I consider two a starter pack. The bluesy and the TT GRNR are great looking pieces.

SS GMT on Jubilee, Take your pick. Submariner ND, either the 114060 or the 124060 and a YG DD with the white dial and roman numerals. That is about as good and diverse a three what collection can get and it touches all the bases for me.

I might suggest starting w the day date if you can.. you might realize you’d rather have one more pm piece vs two two tones or two tone and ss.
So what I’m saying is
YG white Roman dd
PM sports watch of your choice
No two tones

I would go with the SS Sub ilo the Bluesy. Get the green bezel if you want to get fancy! Would also opt for the white roman dial on the DD.
