Bracelet swap question

Hi all.

I have a GMT Master11 2018 on an oyster bracelet. I would like to swap it with a Sub bracelet as I prefer the brushed look and the glide lock system. I asked my local AD and they said it is not possible. Is this true or can it be done ?
Many thanks in advance.

Bracelet swap question

This thread may be helpful.

If the BLRO/Pepsi was on a brushed oyster bracelet, would it be more popular??

For the 12xxxx, you can use the pin from the sub for the swap

You can do it but you’ll have to source the bracelet elsewhere (most likely) as it is not native to that reference.

Yep. And it would have to be the 11-series sub.

I contacted the RSC at West Malling who told me that if I took my 116610 in on a NATO they would supply a new bracelet. I don't think there's any way of getting the bracelet from Rolex unless you already own the Sub.

In the end I didn't go there. I swapped the bracelet from my 116610 onto my 126710, intending to get a replacement OEM bracelet for the Sub. Much to my surprise I didn't get on with the Sub bracelet on the GMT Master. It just didn't feel right. Eventually it ended up on a Jubilee, which is perfect for me. I've never worn a more comfortable watch.

I prefer that one anyway to be totally honest.
