Not sure of your point as none is stated, but the lugs are certainly scratched.

I think he is saying that the serial number stated is known to be a clone.
No worries here. You’d have to pay me to wear that Daytona.

It is an amazing reference - I have seen one in person and very unique.

Takes a very unique person to carry it off.

The OP needs to expand on that first hand grenade lobbed over the parapet of eye of the tiger.

I don't know what the point of the post was, but I do like seeing the fact that both those watches got worn and were not safe queens. If you look at the bezel you can see both watches got dinged up (and the second looks like it's been polished, poorly may I add, as well).

I have the real thing.
Both watches posted by OP are fake. OP is trying to warn you all there’s fakes.

Aftermarket conversions, maybe?
The watch faces do look pretty close though to the factory one shown e.g. at https://www.fratellowatches.com/role...na-116588-tbr/ ,but the pictures could have better depth of focus.

The movement(s) look free-sprung, so those are probably real.
Somebody did mangle or at least smudged the movement clamps and screws.

Hopefully the OP will add a little bit of context. For now I will err on the side of caution and refrain from stocking up on TBRs ;-)

I love any Daytona, but I have never even seen one in hand. So im not very familiar with that reference. I’m sure there are fakes out there or clones because of the value.
This is where the white tag is important for the dial and serial numbers.

Cheers,
