5402 Dial Identification
Hi everyone, posted this in a 15202 thread but thought it better to dedicate a post to it since it’s for a 5402. I am hopping in here to see if anyone can help identify this 5402 dial.
Although I thought this was a 5402 dial originally (6 o clock AP, Petite Tapisserie, Swiss) there are minute markers next to the date window that look full length rather than half length. According to AP Chronicles, 5402 original dials had half length minute markers. Once the AP went to 12, they do not have minute markers next to the date window other than on service dials (those will also say”Swiss Made” in that case). I was wondering if it could be a 14802 dial as some seemed to have AP at 6 for those made in 1992 but I do not think so (the back of this dial says 6, then a star, then an order number, then 4N, which is usually for the 5402) See below for the photos, thanks so much for your help. |
