Wrist sizes!

Ya’ll have some small wrist…continuing my search for my 1st Rolex (and high end watch) I’m discovering a lot of 7”-7.5 wrist sizes.
Do I need to go to BIG and TALL section for a 8” size?

(This post is full sarcasm, please don’t ‘at’ me)

Welcome Robert.

I wouldn’t say 7”+ wrists are exactly small That said, there are quite a few guys here with even larger wrists, I’m sure they’ll chime in.

If you’re looking for Rolex that wear larger, the YM2 is probably one of the biggest, followed by the DSSD (you could go DS Challenge if you really want something large)

I think on this forum, 7.5” are bigger than average. And 8 is definitely larger.

I would guess most folks have around 6.75 to 7 inch wrists.

You could post a poll to find out.

By the way, I always say I have 7.5” wrists, but they’re actually closer to 7.7”. I just say 7.5 to round it off. I’m not really sure why I do that, but that’s what I’ve been doing for years and years on this forum.

Also, someone on this forum once said I must live an unhealthy lifestyle to have 7.5” wrists. The implication being that I’m fat. This was years ago and I wasn’t happy about that. Truth is, losing 10 pounds wouldn’t be the worst thing for me, but I’m actually more muscular than fat.

It seems like the watch world is all about those 7”-7.5” wrist sizes lately. Maybe you'll need to hit up the "BIG and TALL" section for that 8” size Rolex! Who knows, you might find a watch that fits just right for your wrist.
