Anyone on waiting list for the new 116610 Submariner?

I have seen the new TT Sub and not sure I like what I see. Out of proportion case to seemingly too-skinny bracelet.

Will stick with my Classic / Series Y for now.

I think there will be plenty of new Subs to go around...when they get here.

Well, I remember years back when I saw the new GMT IIc on pictures. Didn’t like it because of the big case and the narrow/skinny bracelet – until I get the chance to see it IRL (have owned two). Same issue with the new Submariner family. The proportions are just perfect.
The only current Rolex model with proportion issues is the SDDS IMO. I would love to love this amazing watch, but it’s just so ugly (sorry SDDS owners;)

The proportions of the newer style Sub are just fine with the current style Oyster bracelet IMO!!! Its the same size as the GMT IIC!!!(To many Sub purists,time will change there views when its all the new rage)
I say have fun on the waiting list,it might be awhile!!!

Shouldn't it be 216520? Too many numbers in 1116520, unless it is a 42 mm model with a 22 mm distance between the lugs

Me!!!!!! I had 500 down on the deepsea, when it arrived it wasn't for me. Before you say anything ! Its a wonderful watch. Just not my cup of tea..
I asked if i could leave the 500 down on the new sub, when it comes out. The lady said i will get the very first one they get...
So i am fingers crossed, and looking forward to it.

Yes it is, but i think i was only ever going to get a credit slip back .
And if the wife found out, i had credit in the ad , well the credit, would be gone in a flash.

Is it common in the US, GB, AUS etc. to put a deposit at your AD for a “waiting list Rolex”?
I’ve never heard of it here in Denmark.
What’s the point anyway? E.g. when the new SS Sub will be released next year I’m pretty sure there will be a waiting list long as hell (remember the Milgauss GV). If you don’t buy the watch, the next in line probably will. I don’t think the authorised dealers will be left with stacks of new Subs despite the lack of deposits ;-)

It shouldn't be any different from the GMTIIc, which looks great to me. True, the dimensions aren't the same as the classic Subs, etc, but it still works, imo.

My biggest beef will be with the ceramic bezel. I'm not sure it will work as well with the Sub as it does with the GMT, but time will tell.

I have a classic sub and a GMT IIc. I love both of them. I like the lack of a luminous dot at the 12 o'clock position on the GMT. The ceramic bezel has a nice shine to it.
