Day Date dilemma...
Trying to decide on a new dd40 but i'm torn between a 228238 white or 228235 olive - love them both but not sure what would get worn more often - the rose with olive dial doesnt strike me as an every day wear...opinions?

I'd rock the 228235 everyday.
Have you tried both on? I feel like that tends to clear up the dilemma pretty quickly. |

Yes sir Ive had both on the wrist - the only drawback I see with the YG white dial is it seemed like more of a casual watch but I would own them both if I were single:-)
is that a 15202st in your sig pic? - great piece. |

I think either of those would be on the same level of consideration for a daily wearer. Both make quite a statement and have that wow factor. My preference out of the two would be the RG/Olive. That is a gorgeous watch! I think a great daily wearer would be the 228239 white gold DD. Offered with the Olive dial too.

I had my 202 blue on yesterday - great watch but im always wary of the fragile movement, i usually wear a rolex and they are bombproof

Yeah I agree on the daily wear thing, wg would be the under the radar choice but i already have plenty of daily drivers, i am leaning towards the rose/green

238 by miles. One, I have reason to believe the legibility of the 23t is by far worse, and two, I think YG white dial is such a fantastic, classic look.

White dial for the timeless look, in my opinion.

The RG is the ticket, the YG is also very nice, I’m not crazy about the white dial.
The green dial is superb! Cheers, |

I’d go for the white dial for everyday wearability , but the olive is indeed a gorgeous reference.
My skin tone lends more to YG, but yours may not. Good luck |

I like the olive/ rose.
Could easily wear every day. Unless you’re in really good light the green doesn’t really pop. It usually looks more like this.. I think the yellow gold is flashier and this is a bit more under the radar at least for a full gold Rolex. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The watch you like better will be the one most worn, guaranteed.
I don't see much, if any difference between the situations you could- or couldn't- wear either one of them in. Just my opinion. |

I love my champagne, but if it wasn't for sentimental reasons I might have gone RG Olive; I think it's so beautiful.

I like the Olive but for me I went with the white/romans 40
I just like how it looks somewhat sporty (for a DD) and lends itself to more casual wear. It looks great with a tux or jeans and a T. You really can't make a bad decision here, just comes down to your personal taste and how you dress. ![]()
