Can an AD order a jubilee rose gold bracelet to replace an oyster for a sky dweller?

I’m about to get a rose gold
Sky dweller. It has the oyster which I still really like. But wondering if an ad can order me a rose gold jubilee to replace the oyster. I’ve heard of it being allowed as long as you trade in the original bracelet for some of the credit. Anyone try this? And how much did it cost? How long did it take?

You would only need to pay the difference in bracelet cost. Just call the SA and ask if it can be done. I don’t see any reason that it couldn’t be done.

My AD told me Rolex won’t accept the return of a bracelet from a new watch. He said that would leave me with two bracelets and the cost of the rose gold jubilee was well over $10k, and it did not make sense.

Thanks Kat. Forgot to add its the older reference 326935. Hope they can still order it for me. For 10k I guess I would look to sell the oyster after receiving the jubilee

It would depend on the AD. I know at the AD where I used to work you wouldn't be able to do that.

Jubilee bracelets got introduced lately with this latest reference right? Rolex would not sell you a jubilee for an older reference. You’re walking into a nightmare scenario. Just get the watch you want elsewhere. Full gold skydwelers are easy to get now at ADs

No, probably not. The new one with jubilee is a different reference number.

You can buy the bracelet outright. Better sit down when they tell you the price. I thought a swap would be available for the difference with my skydweller. Nope. You have to buy the new bracelet. Best price i found for a rolesor jubilee was about $4k. I'd imagine all PM would be twice that.

My ad said she has to look into it and call me back. I think they won’t do it bc of the older reference number

In that case, probably not. You might try calling one of our trusted sellers, to see if they can source it for you. I’ve actually been thinking of sourcing a Jubilee for my TT Wimbledon, as an addition, not a trade.
I know it’s very expensive, though.

I think the case shape may possibly have been tweaked between the two references. Don’t know for sure. Quite a gamble to go that route though.

Nothing is easy with Rolex. Things which might makes sense to us are non starters for them.
